For app makers
Submission guidelines
TopAIGF is only useful if readers can trust what they see. These rules apply to every app we list, whether we added it or you submitted it. Breaking them gets a submission rejected, and a listed app removed.
What we list
- AI companion products: AI girlfriends and boyfriends, character and roleplay chat, and companion image or voice generation.
- Apps that are live, working, and open to the public today. No waitlists, betas behind invites, or "coming soon" pages.
- Apps you own or are authorized to represent. If you work for the maker, use a work email address.
Descriptions and details
- Describe what the app actually does today, in plain language. Write it yourself; don't paste your landing page or app store copy.
- Keep pricing current, including what the free tier really includes and how credits or tokens work.
- Tick only the features a new user can find and use. If voice calls are paid-only, say so in the pricing details.
- Superlatives you can't back up, like "#1 AI girlfriend" or "most realistic ever".
- Keyword stuffing, competitor names, or links to other sites.
- Fake reviews, invented user counts, or made-up awards.
Screenshots
- Real, unedited captures of your app: chats, characters, generated images, settings.
- Characters that clearly look like adults. If there is any doubt, leave it out.
- Up to 6 images, JPEG, PNG, or WebP, 5 MB each. Portrait works best.
- Explicit nudity or sexual acts. Screenshots appear on public pages, so keep them safe for work even if your app is not.
- Stock photos, AI art made outside your app, mockups of features that don't exist, or images from other products.
- Ad banners, discount codes, QR codes, or large text overlays.
Never allowed
Any of these means an immediate rejection, removal of the listing, and a closed account.
- Any sexual content involving minors, or characters that are described, styled, or prompted as under 18. This includes "petite", "schoolgirl", and similar framing.
- Sexual or intimate content depicting real people without their consent, including celebrity bots and deepfakes.
- Adult apps that make no effort to keep out users under 18.
- Anything illegal where you or your users operate, including content that promotes violence, self-harm, or hatred against protected groups.
- Malware, phishing, scams, hidden subscriptions, or apps that are hard to cancel.
- Reselling, cloning, or impersonating someone else's app or brand.
How review works
- 1 You submit. A person on our team checks the app, the description, and every screenshot, usually within a few days.
- 2 We may tidy up wording, fix categories, or crop images so the listing matches the rest of the directory.
- 3 We email you either way. If changes are needed, you get the reason and can edit and resubmit from My submissions.
Submitting is free. Approval doesn't buy a ranking: positions, ratings, and reviews stay independent. By submitting, you let us show your app's name, description, and screenshots on TopAIGF, and you confirm you have the rights to them. We can update or remove a listing at any time, for example when an app changes or stops following these rules.
